“We had a great time with Zack. He spoke perfect English! We enjoyed the history and humor while tasting foods that we might have not tried on our own. The beer was good also. It was an easy walk only made crazy by the massive amount of people near the markets. Zack fortunately tried to avoid those areas. If I had one small criticism it would be that Cafe Louvre was just too crowded for this experience. It brought the rest of the tour to a screeching halt. Maybe somewhere else next time? “Our tour guide Mike was incredibly passionate about his country and the traditional food. He was able to give such an in depth background into so many different areas: history, culture, religion, languages, architecture etc. He was also able to use our background (English/Australian) to help us make food choices that were to our liking. He shared which items were traditional flavours and which were the more modern flavours. We covered a lot of areas in Prague, despite a lot being closed for the “Christmas Period.” We also left the tour with lots of recommendations personal to our specific interests. The beer in the monastery was a great way to start and the food in the local restaurant was fantastic.
